Exoneree Band was formed with a passion for creating original music that resonates with the soul. Our journey began in 2011, and since then, we've dedicated ourselves to producing original tracks that reflect our experiences and emotions. Our music is not one genre, it reflects who we were and who we are now. We live all over the United States and come together at Venues to perform and speak about wrongful conviction.
These five men are not only talented and dedicated musicians,
they are talented and dedicated human beings. All five were
wrongfully convicted of crimes they did not commit. The
torture, pain and drama they all went through is
incomprehensible. Antoine spent four years in the hole of a
fourteen year nightmare. Bill never thought he would see the
light of day again, he lost twenty eight years of his life and
was basically abandoned by the outside world. Ray spent one
third of his life in prison, twenty nine years for a crime where
most “guilty” men would have served less than half of that.
Eddie falsely confessed under intense pressure, then spent ten
years in prison and then even after he was released, he had to
spend another eleven years proving his innocence. Ted also
falsely confessed and then spent ten years of his life in hell
before he was found innocent and exonerated and it took
another ten years to get compensated from state of
Washington. The most amazing thing about each one of these
men is that they are all living a healthy life and not one of
them is bitter or angry. Now, they all celebrate the immense
power of freedom and the cleansing emotions of making and
performing their music. These are the stories that give us faith
and hope in this tangled world we live in. I hope you embrace
this record and get as much joy from listening to it as I had in
helping them make it...
